Thai Life Insurance Public Company Limited (TLI) announced its financial results for the first half of 2026, reporting a strong net profit of 6,575 million Baht, up 3.9% year-on-year. This performance reflected the Company’s ability to generate resilient profitability. New Business Contractual Service Margin (New Business CSM) totaled 5,211 million Baht. Embedded Value stood at 186,393 million Baht, equivalent to 16.3 Baht per share. Reinforcing its strong fundamentals, the Company has declared its first-ever interim dividend of 0.25 Baht per share
Mr. Chai Chaiyawan, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Thai Life Insurance Public Company Limited, or TLI, announced the Company's financial performance for the first half of 2026. The Company reported a net profit of 6,575 million Baht, representing a year-on-year increase of 3.9%, with a net profit margin of 23.4%, reflecting stable profit generation. New Business Contractual Service Margin (CSM) totaled 5,211 million Baht, while the total CSM balance as of June 30, 2026, stood at 92,605 million Baht, an increase of 1.1% compared to the position as of December 31, 2025, primarily driven by new business written during the period.
The Company reported net profit excluding extraordinary items and market volatility of 6,367 million Baht, representing a year-on-year growth of 6.9%. Insurance profit remained a key earnings driver at 5,000 million Baht. Meanwhile, core investment profit rose to 1,367 million Baht, rising 54.3% from the same period last year, primarily driven by higher dividend income from domestic equity investments. As of June 30, 2026, Thai Life’s investment portfolio remained well-diversified, with over 80% of investment assets in investment-grade fixed income securities.
As of June 30, 2026, Embedded Value recorded at 186,393 million Baht, or 16.3 Baht per share, while Allocated Comprehensive Equity reached 191,595 million Baht, or 16.7 Baht per share. The capital adequacy ratio stood at 459.1%, significantly above the regulatory minimum of 140%, reaffirming our robust capital position and providing a solid foundation for sustainable growth.
On August 14, 2026, the Company’s Board of Directors approved a first-ever interim dividend payment of 0.25 Baht per share. This reflects the Company’s stable operating performance and its ability to generate consistent returns for shareholders. The dividend will be paid upon approval from the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC).
Mr. Chai stated that Thai Life’s vision is to be a value-driven life insurance company of sustainability. To achieve this vision, the Company has embraced digitalization while continuing to provide customer care under the concept of “Care with Heart”. Accordingly, Thai Life has continued to innovate its products and services to align with customer’s Life stage, Life event and Lifestyle. Recently, the Company launched “Thai Life Insurance LifeVerse”, an innovative life insurance product under the “One Account for a Lifetime” concept. The product enables customers to adjust their life coverage, financial planning, and riders throughout different life stages under a single policy, while offering greater flexibility in retirement planning together with comprehensive health and wellness services. Additionally, the Company has further enhanced the “TLI Application” with the new “LifeVerse Family Account” feature, enabling LifeVerse policyholders to link accounts as a Family Account and conveniently manage their family’s policies in one place.
In terms of services, Thai Life has continued to enhance the “TLI Application”, providing customers with comprehensive access to life and health insurance transactions, together with ongoing customer care services. These include “AI Doctor”, an AI-powered preliminary symptom assessment service developed by Samitivej Hospital, which helps customers better understand potential health risks, provides self-care recommendations, and facilitates convenient access to healthcare services.
Beyond delivering value to customers through innovative products and services, Thai Life also recognizes the importance of creating value for society.
