Thai Life Insurance reported the financial results for the first nine months of 2024, achieving net profit of 8,399 Million Baht, an 8.7% increase over the same period last year. This growth was driven by robust gains in both insurance profit and investment profit. Thai Life Insurance reported first-half result of 2024 with Value of New Business (VONB) of 3,326 Million Baht. VONB margin improved remarkably to 63.7% through an effective execution of the product strategy. Net profit in the second quarter increased by 10.3% from the same period last year to 2,770 Million Baht. The strong growth in the second quarter has brought total six-months net profit to 5,902 Million Baht, 4.6% growth from the same period last year

Thai Life Insurance reported a historical high net profit of 9,707 million Baht driven by strong growth in insurance profit of 12.5%. The Company maintained the second-largest market share in Thailand. Value of New Business or VONB also registered a healthy growth of 5.4% while VONB margin expanded to 62.8% in 2023 due to an effective execution of product strategy. As a result of strong operating profit, Embedded Value (EV) registered a solid growth of 10.6% to 160,580 million Baht or equivalent to 14 Baht per share.

Net profit for nine-month period is 7,729 million, consisting of insurance profit which increased by 5.8% from the same period last year.

Net profit in the second quarter increased by 24.4% from the same period last year to 2,512 Million Baht mainly driven by improved insurance profit. The strong growth in the second quarter has brought total six-months net profit to 5,640 Million Baht.

Net Profit was closed at more than 8.0 billion baht. The Company was not affected by insurance with a lump-sum payment and will continue to provide life solutions on life insurance, health insurance and personal financial planning to customers as well as create value for all stakeholders.
